Powerful Oppression Prayer: Prayers To Stop Spiritual Oppression

Today, we are going to be doing an oppression prayer to command oppression to leave your life!

This oppression prayer will guide you to come out of agreement with any oppressive spirits, and to cast down every stronghold that might be attacking and hindering you in Jesus’ name.

Oppression comes in many different forms. For me, I like to think of oppression as anything that causes me turmoil, feels strange, makes me feel powerless and feels like demonic influence. Spiritual oppression is a real thing, and oppression prayers can help you rise above this.

You may be dealing with physical oppression and sickness, mental oppression, or even emotional oppression. Either way, there is hope for you, and Jesus Christ has defeated the enemy and given you the power and the authority needed to overcome spiritual oppression of any form. This oppression prayer is powerful, authoritative, and can be used daily.

Did you know that oppression is a trespasser? Oppression is not of God and it is not welcomed in your life, and you don’t have to stand for it another day! I personally use the book by John Eckhardt to do all my spiritual cleansing. I have it listed at the bottom of this post if your interested.

For this oppression prayer, we’re going to be using scripture to back up our declaration and our confessions and we’re going to be commanding oppressions of any kind to flee in the name of Jesus so let’s go ahead and get started.

You can say this prayer daily in the mornings, in the evenings, in the afternoons, and at any point that you may need it.

Daily Oppression Prayer

Father God, first of all, I just want to give you thanks, I want to give you thanks for waking me up this day.

I thank you Father God for allowing me to see the sunshine of a brand-new day. I could have been dead and gone sleeping in my grave, Father God, but you saw fit that I shall live and not die. For that, I express my gratitude.

Father God, I thank you for the power that lies and rests in the name of Jesus Christ. I thank you Father God for the power that has been bestowed upon me to be able to cast out oppression. To be able to cast out the enemy, to be able to cast out demons and devils, and to be able to take authority over every spirit of darkness that may be trying to hinder my life.

Lord God, I come out of agreement with any spirits of oppression in the name of Jesus. Father God, I pray that the spirit of oppression will catch fire and be sent to the abyss in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Father, I decree and I declare that all spirits will be cast out by you that will try to attempt to oppress me. I pray for the strength to take authority in your name to command the day and command the night.

Father God, I pray that oppression will no longer be my friend in the name of Jesus. Father God, I declare according to Acts 10:38 that Jesus went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, hallelujah.

I decree and declare that you will go about healing the oppression that is in my life. I pray that you would heal me, make me whole, and bringing together the fragmented pieces that are in my life.

I declare according to Ecclesiastes 4:1 I strip all power from the spirits that will oppress me right now in Jesus’ name. Oppression you have no power and I command you to leave my life at once in the name of Jesus Christ.

I declare according to Ecclesiastes 5:8 I rebuke and cast out all spirits of poverty that will try to oppress me in Jesus’ name.

I declared according to Ecclesiastes 7:7 and I rebuke all spirits of madness all spirits of confusion that will try to oppress my mind in the name of Jesus. Father God, your word has given us a spirit of love, power, and a sound mind. Not a spirit of fear! Lord God, I have a sound mind and I pray for a sound mind.

I pray for thoughts of good, I pray Father God that you will grant me the power to be able to think good thoughts. Whatever is lovely, whatever is pure, and for all oppressive thoughts to stop, all oppressive dreams to leave, all oppressiveness to go and come to ruin right now in the name of Jesus Christ.

Lord undertake me and come against all my oppressors. Lord God, I thank you that you will show up for me. I pray Lord that you will cast out all spirits of oppression, that you will limit and flatten all spirits of oppression, and that every spirit of sorcery will catch fire in the name of Jesus.

I declare according to Psalms 9:9 lord that you are a refuge from the oppressor. I thank you, Father God, that you are my strength, that you are a refuge, and that you are a shield from the oppressor, from the enemy, and that nothing shall by any means hurt me.  

I declare according to Psalm 17:9 Father God that you will deliver me from the wicked and that you would keep me from the oppressor and from the deadly enemies that will surround me in Jesus’ name.

I declare according to Psalms 54:3 Lord God that you are delivering me from the oppressor that seeks after my soul, hallelujah.

I thank you, Lord God, that you are the captain of my soul, that you are the captain of my ship. I thank you that you hold the keys of life and death, you hold the keys to the oppressor, and that you will hold back oppression from my life.

God, I pray that I will no longer be tormented by spirits of oppression. All monitoring spirits I command you to go! Leave my life at once in Jesus name.

Father God, I pray that you will show me things I need to take out of my home, movies that I need to take out of the home, things that I need to stop listening to, things that I need to stop watching, and anything that may be holding any negative power in my home. Show it to me Holy Spirit so that I may throw them out!

Father God, send powers of protection over my home, over my children, over my life, over my mind, over my body, and over my soul in Jesus’ name.  

Father God, I pray according to Psalms 72:4 that you will break in pieces, my oppressors.

I decree and declare according to Psalms 107:39 and rebuke and cast out all spirits of affliction sorrow and anything attempting to bring me low in the name of Jesus.

Father God, I declare according to Psalms 119:121 that you will leave me not to my oppressors.  Lord Jesus, I thank you, I thank you Father God that you will not leave me to the plans and the agenda of my oppressors.  

Father God, I pray that every door of oppression will be closed in Jesus’ name. May no doors be left open that may cause hindrances to come into my life.

Father God, I thank you according to Isaiah 54:14 that I am established in righteousness, and that I am far from oppression. Father God, may I be far from oppression. Father God, just like you forgive our sins and separated us from our sins as far as the east is from the west. I pray that I will be separated from oppression as far as the east is from the west. May oppression not touch my life anymore. May I start to experience joy and victory in the area of oppression.  

Father God, I pray according to Psalms 146:7 that you will execute judgment against my oppressors. God nothing can stand against you! Oh God, when you rebuke something, it must bow to the name of Jesus Christ.

I command oppression right now bow to the name of Jesus!

Closing Oppression Prayer

I plead the blood of Jesus from the crown of my head all the way down to the soles of my feet and I command oppression to leave me now in the name of Jesus. COME OUT OPPRESSION right now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Father God, I pray that you would seal this deliverance by the power of the holy spirit. May you vacate every area that the enemy has tried to fill, and fill it with your presence, your peace, and your victory. In Jesus name, Amen
